Chris Link of Raleigh wants a makeover for her mouth. I noticed my teeth weren't looking as white as they used to look.

After weighing her options with Raleigh Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Jimmy Sarant, Chris decided on porcelain veneers. I've got a wax tooth simulation of your teeth so you can see what they look like before we start so you can make sure you like them.

Raleigh Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Sarant says over time, Chris' teeth have worn down, chipped and shifted, which bleeching and braces won't fix. So instead, he'll cement thin pieces of porcelain on the front of her teeth. But first, he must prep them. We're going to go in there, shape her teeth just a little differently, take off just a little enamel, not much, very conservative procedure, at that point, we take an impression of her teeth and from that impression, we send that off to the lab and the lab makes the veneers from that impression.

Two weeks later, Chris will get her new smile. Very excited, I cannot wait. So how much of a difference can veneers make in a smile? I am so pleased. It's more than I had expected and went really well.
